Find out what motivates you to learn the new language:
All of us have dreams, and most of us try to achieve it, but some of us due to the lack of motivation do not work hard enough to make our dreams come true. One of the key things to achieve your dream is to be passionate about it. There is a great difference between working towards something and being enthusiastic about something. When you are passionate about your goal, you will be disciplined, and nothing can stop you. Learning a new language might be hard, but if you have something which drives you to learn it, you will have no trouble at all.
Think in the language you want to learn:
Most of us tend to think in our mother tongue. If you are trying to learn a new language, try to think in the language you want to learn. When you do that, you will be able to form sentences, and when you actually try to speak in that language, you will be able to talk without stammering.
Living in a place where the foreign is spoken is an added advantage:
If you happen to stay at a location where the local language is the language you want to learn, you have a great advantage. Since everyone will be speaking in that language, you will have no other option other than to speak in that foreign lingo. Wherever you go or do, you will be forced to read and speak in that language, and thus you will be able to learn better.
Embrace your mistakes:
We all are not superhuman, and we are meant to make mistakes. When you make a mistake, do not feel discouraged. Try to embrace your mistakes and learn from it. Making errors while learning is part of the whole process and so, when you make a mistake the next time, use it as a tool to improve rather than sulking about it.
Find various opportunities to speak in the language you are learning:
To be fluent in a particular language you need to learn to speak well in that specific language. Try to find opportunities to speak in the language you are learning so that you will be able to grasp the accent and the practice of speaking in that language.
