Language flexibility
The ability to use a variety of linking words and expressions which can help our clients express and contrast their ideas.
Presentation skills
Help in structuring presentations in a foreign language including useful set phrases and expressions which can help non-native speakers give a clear structure to their thoughts.
Clarity
Analysis of our clients’ intonation, accent, confidence, body language with regards to their effect on the final message.
Idiomatic and informal speech
Practice using Spanish in informal and social contexts. Social chit chat, question forms, idioms and conversation fillers.
CULTURAL OBJECTIVES
Local culture
To increase our clients’ awareness of local cultural norms in business and social life in the country to be visited. (Local differences between Spain and Latin American will naturally be taken into account.)
This does not only concern the colourful ´dos and taboos´ of culture but also looks at deeper issues such as: formality (speech, dress, titles), hierarchy, gender issues, styles of business relationships, humour etc.
Business culture
To highlight the fact that in some cultures there may be a difference between business cultures i.e. between public and private sectors, educational institutions, multi-nationals etc.
Home culture
To encourage an awareness of one’s own cultural background and the signals it may give to foreign business partners.
TAILOR-MADE COURSES
A more specific personal itinerary for each client is developed in more detail once we meet our clients. This is left to a team of experienced, sensitive and resourceful teachers able to adapt their teaching to a wide spectrum of business objectives, learning styles and personality types.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
The general ethos of our teaching is to create a relaxed, dynamic and fun atmosphere in which language points occur naturally and cultural perspectives can be shared.

We believe in stimulating a variety of senses, putting language into context and bringing it to life. For this reason our teaching programme combines formal sessions with a variety of lively activities which offer more informal - yet equally effective - teaching forums.
