Help with the fonts
If you don't have Japanese fonts installed on your
PC, there are web services that draw the kana and
kanji on Japanese web pages in real-time for any
graphical browser, so you can view Japanese documents
without needing a Japanese-capable browser. Try
Open Japan
or ACCESS-J.
Alternatively, a good truetype font can be installed
from Microsoft Office or NT4 CD-ROMs or even downloaded
free from the Monash archive. Microsoft also
give away their Global
IME which enables input as well as viewing -
originally only in Microsoft products, but see this
announcement from Netscape.
