ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR HOLIDAY PACKAGES IN FRANCE
YOUR ACCOMMODATION & SAFETY
You undertake to take responsibility and exercise reasonable care in respect of your accommodation and its equipment. We remind you of your own duty of care for your own and other members of your party’s safety whilst you are away. Local regulations, with which we comply, may mean that the layout and services within your accommodation are different from those to which you may be accustomed. In particular, electrical systems in England and France use different norms.
INSURANCE
Clients are encouraged to take out their own insurance cover in case of accident, illness, theft or other emergency. Lingualearn is not responsible for the loss of valuables or property left in the accommodation during your stay.
AVAILABILITY OF FACILITIES
We reserve the right to vary or withdraw services; resort and accommodation services and facilities may be restricted or withdrawn at certain times for maintenance, and/or bad weather, during low season, due to illness or for other reasons. If the availability of a particular service/facility is of paramount importance to the enjoyment of your holiday then you should raise this with us at the time of booking.
BREAKAGES
Any damages or breakages will be charged at prevailing local rates. An inventory of contents is available on request.
CLEANING
At the end of your holiday you should leave the property as clean and tidy as you found it. If the property is not clean on your departure then we will call in outside cleaners and make an additional charge.
REPAIRS
We reserve the right to enter the accommodation in cases of urgency in order to carry out inspections, maintenance work, housekeeping or repairs.
DISRUPTION
We would request that clients’ behaviour is not excessively noisy or disruptive. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and a guest may be asked to leave the premises without remission of charges if this occurs.
ADDITIONAL HOUSE GUESTS
The number of people using the holiday accommodation shall not exceed the number stated on your invoice and quotation. Any additional guests may incur an extra charge.
SUB-LETTING
No sub-letting of the accommodation is permitted under any circumstances.
EXTENSION OF STAY
The agreed period will be marked clearly on your invoice; any extension of the agreed period for your holiday will incur extra charges. An extension may only be authorised after contacting the Lingualearn management in the UK and permission given in writing. Advance payment will normally be required for any such extension.
Unauthorised extension of stay may result in immediate expulsion by bailiffs; all expenses incurred, including locksmith, legal fees, bailiff's fees and loss of income will be charged to clients.
DEPOSIT AND EXTRA CHARGES
The deposit for your holiday is payable in advance by credit card. Any extra charges incurred will be automatically deducted from the same credit card account. Our legal team will recover any unpaid bills.
PETS
Pets of all kinds are not normally allowed. Exceptions may be made
in some circumstances and clients are requested to check with
the management at the time of booking e.g. blind dogs.
