is able to offer in-company courses for: English, French, German, Spanish,
Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Dutch and Swedish. We
have a very large network of tutors on our books at present, all qualified
native-speaker teachers.
All our courses are tailor-made to suit the needs of small groups or individuals. We would suggest starting with a needs analysis for each person who is interested. This would consist of a language assessment (telephone test and e-mail test in the target language), questionnaire and interview to evaluate the needs, wants, strengths and weaknesses of each potential trainee. Following this needs analysis we would design a training plan for each person concerned. The training plan could contain elements of: 1. a self-study package using tapes, CD ROMs, websites, books, videos ... [see our materials section] 2. in-company tuition in a small group or 1:1 3. a distance course using telephone, e-mail and web-based materials [see our distance courses section] 4. personal tuition at the tutors home, in a restaurant, or other suitable location [see our tutors section] One of the features of our courses is their flexibility. We offer in-company tuition at almost any time of the day, seven days a week. Lunchtime lessons are very popular with busy employees. We are not able to arrange in-company courses in every town in the UK as most of our staff are located in SE England and the Midlands. However, as we expand, new staff from other areas are joining our network on a weekly basis. Enquiries are welcome for in-company courses in all areas. The needs of trainees vary considerably from person to person, and from company to company. There is no one ideal method nor approach to language training. Some trainees require a more structured, traditional approach, while others prefer a more communicative methodology. We try to take into account the learning preferences of each individual, giving them just the right amount of challenge and encouragement. In-company courses are for a minimum of 20 hours; we recommend at least two hours per week. Courses vary in price according to their length, location, number of trainees and complexity, but a ball-park figure for a 20-hour course would be £1000 [approx' $1600 US, EUR 1600, $2200 CAN] with a qualified native-speaker teacher. This price would include a needs analysis, teaching materials and high quality courses for up to 6 employees, but exclude VAT. The cost of tuition is slightly lower for longer courses (e.g. for 40 hours+) and individuals, but slightly higher in large cities (e.g. Central London). Please complete an online registration form for groups or individuals, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. There is no obligation and one of our consultants will contact you with a price and suggested starting date. If the price is too high, we can suggest ways of lowering it e.g. incorporating more self-study using the latest CD ROMs. £ Price check £
